THE ART OF GIVING
FRIENDS OF CES
As you make plans to enjoy the 2013-14 season, please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to the Friends of CES program. Ticket sales account for only 25 percent of the cost of these internationally touring, professional productions. Your donation not only ensures that we are able to continue presenting great performances, but it also assists with our arts integration, inspiring audiences and experiential arts programs. Paul G. Allen, co-founder of Microsoft said, “I have seen the critical role that the arts play in stimulating creativity and in developing vital communities … the arts have a crucial impact on our economy and are an important catalyst for learning, discovery and achievement in our country.”
Friends of CES are “at the front of the line” when tickets first become available. As a Friend at the $500 level or higher, you will receive advance notice of all performances and priority handling of your pre-season ticket orders. We encourage you to join our circle of Friends and include your tax-deductible contribution with your ticket order. If you prefer to make your contribution online, visit http://www.frostburg.edu/foundation/donor-form and be sure to designate “I would like my gift to benefit Cultural Events Series.”
If you are interested in learning more about specific opportunities within CES that are in need of funding, please call Mary Jane Plummer.
Many companies will match your individual contribution, increasing your gift. Visit www.frostburg.edu/match to determine if your company will match your contribution. If so, please enclose the appropriate forms. Contributions to the Friends of CES represent a designated gift through the FSU Foundation.

Season after season, Frostburg State University’s Cultural Events Series prides itself on providing exciting professional performances for the tri-state community. However, ticket sales cover only a portion of the CES annual operating budget. The area organizations and business partners listed below have contributed to the program because they recognize the value of the Cultural Events Series and the role it plays in the region.
