Bullet EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH

Audience development and arts education are the primary objectives that drive the educational outreach component of the CES program. Building audiences that will understand and appreciate the arts now and in the future is critical to our program mission. Our goal is to inspire our audience to take performance experiences beyond the stage and into their lives.

Bullet EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

CES prides itself on offering FSU students and members of the surrounding community the opportunity to grow and expand through a variety of experiential learning opportunities.

THE ART OF GIVING

FRIENDS OF CES

As you make plans to enjoy the 2012-13 season, please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to the Friends of CES program.Ticket sales account for only 25% of the cost of these internationally-touring, professional productions. Your donation not only ensures that we are able to continue presenting great performances, but it also assists with our arts integration, inspiring arts, and experiential arts programs. Paul G. Allen, co-founder of Microsoft said “… I have seen the critical role that the arts play in stimulating creativity and in developing vital communities….the arts have a crucial impact on our economy and are an
important catalyst for learning, discovery, and achievement in our country.” Help CES to be a catalyst in the process of discovery in our own community.

Friends of CES are “at the front of the line” when tickets first become available. As a Friend at the $500 level or higher, you will receive advance notice of all performances and priority handling of your pre-season ticket orders. We encourage you to join our circle of Friends and include your tax-deductible contribution with your ticket order.

If you prefer to make your contribution online, visit www.frostburg.edu/foundation/donor-form and be sure to designate “I would like my gift to benefit… “Cultural Events Series.” If you are interested in learning more about specific
opportunities within CES that are in need of funding, please call Mary Jane Plummer.
